Welcome to Lincoln Elementary!  Located in Hammond, Indiana, Lincoln serves students in pre-school through 5th grade.  We provide many opportunities in and outside of the classroom for students to experience success.  This website provides further information about our school and the programs we offer, as well as additional links to our mylincolnlion projects.  Thanks for visiting our site!

CROWN POINT — Sheriff John Buncich has suspended five Lake County Jail corrections officers for locking a woman up in the same room with several male inmates last weekend.
GARY — Police were conducting a welfare check on a woman in the city's Midtown section Wednesday when they discovered she and another individual stabbed to death inside a residence.
HIGHLAND — Dan Salus, a youth sports coach who continued to lead his players despite battling stomach cancer, died Monday. He was 47.
De La Salle Institute in Chicago recently announced that Diane Brown was chosen as principal. Brown, of St. John, was the interim principal of both De La Salle campuses this past school year.
HAMMOND — Three weeks before school is set to begin at Bishop Noll Institute, the Catholic high school announced the hiring of its new principal.
